Elise Lindborg, Top Dog

Specialties:

This organized, resourceful, entrepreneurial spirit is also a skilled coordinator for event planning, sporting events, health conferences and more.

Pedigree:

Born and raised in Missoula, Montana, Elise is a scandihoovian mutt, with equal parts Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, and Finnish. She prides herself on thinking out of the box, or at ZippyDogs, outside the doghouse.

Kelli Henderson, Chili Dog

Education:

Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design, Purdue University
Minor in Graphic Design

Specialties:

Our fun and flexible idea-generator has strong graphic design and management background, as well as extensive knowledge of the print industry. The Chili Dog was raised in an advertising, printing, project management and technical/computer environment.

Pedigree:

A natural-born responsible leader, Kelli most resembles a mix between a Doberman and Border Collie. She’s Indiana born and bred.

Kristi Curran, Deputy Dog

 

Education:

Multi-interdisciplinary approach using college, life, and lots of mistakes, now in her forties Kristi is always learning!

Specialties:

Smiling, being goofy, and sliding on the bamboo floors at full speed (fleece socks work best).

Pedigree:

Born in California and raised in Vero Beach, Florida, this Dog has lived in Europe, Boston, and the Southwest. French, Welsh, Finnish, and Irish make up this unusual mixed breed who although has a history of roving with her small pack, has settled in West Seattle and is happy to call the Pacific Northwest home. An Australian Shepherd at heart, Kristi likes to work hard, play hard, and sleep hard!

Julia Serva- Del Monte, Zesty Dog

Education:

Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Emphasis in Advertising at Washington State University

Specialties:

This down-to-earth dog has strengths in creativity, using her noggin, and telling awful jokes.

Pedigree:

Born in New York, raised in Washington– this puppy has a mixed background in graphic design, photography, and advertising. After having lived all over Washington, Zesty Dog can now call Seattle her home. Her breeding consists of spontaneous camping, traveling, and cooking good food. A mixed breed of Italian, Swedish and Polish also makes for a hungry puppy around dinner time (her favorite time of day).

The Bookkeeper; Private Dog

Pedigree:

Bloodhound – our bookkeeper can sniff out even the smallest of discrepancies and has a cousin named Guido from New Jersey

Ginger, The Enforcer

Education:

School of hard knocks. – Cowlitz County Animal Shelter. She was a street hussy – but don’t hold that against her.

Specialties:

Paper shredding, hostess and security. Sometimes when grouchy she is also known as the “fun police”.

Pedigree:

Ginger is an Australian Kelpie cattle dog combined with the jumping abilities of some sort of terrier. Basically she is a true mutt. The owners of ZippyDogs adopted Ginger in April of 2006. She now has a good home and is proud to be a part of the ZippyDogs pack. Woof!

Jagger, Devil Dog II

Seattle DogWorks – Puppy Class I
Sit, Down, & Stay – I have forgotten everything I learned! But I still come to my recall words “Jagger TACO” cuz I love, love, love canned spray cheese.

Specialties:

He is a ferocious protector of our telephone lines and never lets any crow rest too long.  At night, Jagger is the protector of the skies, alerting us to airplane lights – this function does not win him points with anyone.  His true specialty is bugging his big sister Ginger and true to his breed; he nips at her ankles daily, especially to speed her out the dog door when she is moving too slowly.

Pedigree:

Jagger is a pure bred Schipperke. He shows all the traits of his breed; nosey, tough, ornery, thinks he is big stuff and lets you know it, but he’s cute as a bear cub. Everything is his and don’t you forget it.  But don’t let the tough guy attitude fool you, he is a cuddling lap dog too.  Hobbies include:  foraging for peanuts left by squirrels, spying on the neighbor’s kids and peeing on Kelli’s grill.
